Our Spirit, Our Gratitude

The St. Anne’s Christmas Bazaar has become a household event in Ottawa over the last decade.
This annual marketplace of local vendors, holiday festivities, children’s corners and a silent auction, has Indigenous and non-Indigenous community members alike looking forward to gathering in celebration and holiday spirit each year. As the St. Anne’s Christmas Bazaar is set to return in 2025 for its 11th year, St. Anne’s is looking to give back and recognize those who have made this event a success.
Volunteers are the lifeblood of the bazaar. Their personal, freely given time has made it safe, festive and joyful for attendees for more than a decade. So, St. Anne’s is hosting a gratitude and appreciation supper to make sure these individuals know how grateful the church and the broader community are for their hard work. This small but impactful token of sincere gratitude is in recognition of all the work volunteers put in on behalf of the St. Annes’s Christmas Bazaar.
The Indigenous Reconciliation Fund (IRF) is proud to contribute funding to help ensure those who have made this event possible are honoured. As St. Annes’ prepares for the 11th bazaar, the timing could not be any more significant as it enters its second decade of bringing the community together.
